The amazing carnival that is Moretonhampstead returned on Thursday 25th August 2022 after a two year break. Crowds thronged the streets as the colourful floats and procession pasted by The White Hart Hotel, weaving through their way through the streets of Moretonhampstead.
The first Moretonhampstead Carnival took place just over 100 years ago back in 1921. Since then, on the fourth Thursday in August, Moretonians flock together to celebrate this wonderful moorland town tradition that grows in popularity year in year. Roll on 24th August 2023!
