Another great meal – “Excellent food and service and so friendly. Would certainly book to stay next time visiting the area. It is so comfortable with a lovely lounge and bar. It has a nice little garden courtyard for the summer.”

Lovely, relaxing, great food – “I didn’t think places as lovely as this existed any more, family run, grade 2 listed building, staff so friendly – great food, comfortable rooms and dog friendly. Great spot to explore Dartmoor.”

Best stay ever – “After an astonishing refurb me and my partner went up to stay at this hotel and we paid for the luxury suite and it’s the comfiest bed you’ll ever sleep on! With spotless rooms… friendly staff and great atmosphere this hotel is everything you need and more for a weekend getaway in the country.”

Wow – what a refurb! “Well done James and Hanna and all your helpers, I thought it was nice before have been staying there for 12 years but this up a notch, every thing is spot on food and accommodation.”

Staff are amazing – “Went here for dinner with friends and what a meal it was, absolutely perfection the mix grill was to die for specially as me and freinds are fussy with food we all thought it was amazing well done 👏 also dog friendly service as we had our husky with us also doggy treats.”

Sunday supper – “Newly refurbished hotel and bar. We had a lovely dinner in the bar. Good wholesome pub food. We had the Ale pie and hunters chicken. Friendly staff. Food was tasty and well presented. I would fully recommend the White Hart and will definitely return.”
