The Moreton Carnival has been a central part of Moretonhampstead’s community for 90 years, and once again this year, the show went with a swing. Locals and visitors alike turned out to enjoy the fun. It’s tough to pick a highlight – the baby show, trolley race and the dog show were all great favourites. As with every year, the main attraction was the procession through the town and it was wonderful to see so many participants and such a wonderfully supportive crowd cheering them on.
At the White Hart we had great fun welcoming both new and familiar faces to our courtyard for burgers and fish and chips, all washed down with a celebratory tipple or two!
