The White Hart Hotel is proud to be a free house able to offer a range of local beers, ciders and spirits. Our back bar is traditional, cosy and inviting – with a real fire in winter – and popular with locals and guests alike. We always have at least two real ales on draught.
Dartmoor and the South West are areas so blessed with an amazing number of local breweries that we are spoilt for choice.
Ales & Lagers
At the White Hart bar we have Otter Amber, Jail Ale and Guinness draught ales and Amstel, Otter Tarka Four and Moretti draught lagers. In addition we stock a wide range of bottles including Devon Mist, Crabbies Ginger Beer, Utopian Premium & Bohemian.
Ciders
There is the ever popular Devon Red cider plus Inches served by the pint or half on draught, alternatively we stock many alternative options in bottles. These range from Old Blossom Elderflower, Wilde Cherry to Devon Mist, Devon Dry & Devon Rose.
Low or Zero Alcohol
For many years the only alternative to an alcoholic beverage in a bar would be a Britvic Orange or a Coke/Lemonade – today thankfully there is a wide range of interesting and actually fairly tasty non/low/zero alcohol beers and ciders to chose from. The White Hart has a great range: Corona (0%), Heineken (0%), Guinness (0%) & South West Orchards (0.5%).
Spirits
The White Hart stocks a plethora of spirits, far too many to list here – so you’ll have to visit and read through our drinks menu! Of course we stock a wide range of Gins, local and the usuals, also Rums, Tequilas, Vodkas, Whiskies, plus ‘others’ – Campari, Sambuca, Disaronno, Port, Baileys and Grizzled Skipper Absinthe. Make sure you sleep over after the Absinthe!
Soft Drinks, Cordials, Coffee, Tea & Hot Chocolate
Our soft drinks menu certainly supports those who don’t drink alcohol! From the Luscombe range we stock Sicilian Orange, Ginger Beer Hot & Sicilian Citrus Crush; various flavours of Fever-Tree; Belvoir Cordials; plus our Devonia Sparkling and Still bottles of water tick the eco-friendly box as they are collected and re-used.
Cocktails – 2 for £15
We have a whole separate menu for Cocktails at the White Hart Hotel – these sumptuous delights include a ‘Sherlock & Watson’, Pineapple Gin Fizz, Coconut Margarita, Pornstar Martini & Bramble. If you’re celebrating or just love the look of cocktails but don’t drink alcohol, don’t worry we’ve got you covered – Mocktails are available – why not try an Earl Grey & Grapefruit Cooler or Passion Fruit Mule?
