Dartmoor Fly Fishing

The White Hart Hotel is ideally located for some of the best fly fishing in the West Country. We have permits available for many miles of the rivers Teign and Dart; both renowned for their wild trout fishing and if the water is right, there is always the chance of a sea trout or salmon!

 

Dartmoor also has some beautiful and remote reservoirs with excellent brown trout and rainbow trout fishing. Fernworthy, Kennick and Roadford are all within easy reach.

There is something for everyone and all levels of ability and if you’ve not been to Dartmoor, fly fishing before we can arrange professional tuition and all the kit to get you started and enjoying this fascinating sport.

 

The river trout season runs from March 15th to the end of September on the rivers and from April to October for the reservoirs.
