Check in and check out times?
Rooms are guaranteed by 2.00pm on the day of arrival. Should you arrive earlier, we would be happy to store any luggage, whilst you use the facilities of the hotel. As soon as your room is ready we shall inform you. If you believe you will arrive late, after 10pm please advise us, as we do not run a night service after 11pm. We ask that you vacate your rooms by 10.30am on the day of departure. Late check outs may be available please contact reception staff. You are welcome to use the facilities of the hotel for the rest of the day.
Do we need to book for dinner?
A table will automatically be reserved for you if the package which you have booked is inclusive of dinner, you will be asked at what time you wish to dine on arrival. If your package is not inclusive of dinner, it is advisable to book prior to arrival.
Are vegetarian options available?
We offer vegetarian options on all our menus.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Please inform us prior to arrival of any special dietary requirements and out team of chefs shall endeavour to meet your requirements.
Can non residents dine in the Brasserie?
Yes - of course. Non residents are very welcome although it may be advisable to book during busier periods.
Do you have disabled access?
The whole of the ground floor including the restaurant, bar, leisure facilities and some ground floor bedrooms are available to disabled guests with access from the courtyard at the rear of the hotel.
Do you have family accommodation?
Yes, we have three types of combinations to accommodate families, either a room with extra folding beds put into the main bedroom so that you will all be in the same room, a superior room with interconnecting rooms or two separate hotel rooms with a door internally joining them.
What is the cost of children in their own room?
Children in their own room get a 25% discount off the normal rate for the room. Contact reservations for further details.
Is there car parking available?
Yes, there are two municpal car parks in the town. They charge £1.70 per day from 09h00 - 18h00. Luckily there is no parking charge at all between 1st November and the end of February.
Do you store mountain bikes?
Yes, but we can not be liable for their safety.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, dogs are welcome in our hotel grounds and can be accommodated at an extra charge in selected bedrooms.
Please note that dogs are permitted in the bar and lounge area but not in the restaurant.
We charge £7.00 per night per dog.
What are the booking conditions?
All reservations must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit or £50.00 per person. (except Christmas and New Year where the value of the deposit is £200.00 per person followed by payment of the balance by 1st December. For full details please request copy of our Christmas brochure)

1) A confirmed booking verbal or written constitutes a binding contract.
2) Charges will be made for cancellations of 100% within 48 hours of arrival and 50% within seven days of arrival.
3) We would advise for peace of mind, in the unlikely event of a cancellation that you take out covers with your own insurers.
We welcome cash, traveller’s cheque, maestro, access/mastercard and visa. We reserve the right to alter the rates quoted without prior notification.
Which is the closest railway station?
Exeter St Davids is located 13miles from the White Hart hotel with strong links all over the UK.
What facilities do the rooms have?
All rooms have a private bath and shower, CD player and tea and coffer making facilities. Our Mews rooms offer digital TV.
Which are the nearest airports?
Exeter, Newquay, Bristol and Bournemouth are all within 2 hour of the White Hart hotel.
Which is the nearest motorway?
The M5 is the nearest motorway and the White Hart is located just 25 minutes from the end of it.
