Bavarian Evening
Saturday 23rd August
This is an extremely popular event as part of Moretonhampstead carnival week. Bavarian is physically the largest state in Germany, which developed a reputation for good food, music and culture. The event soaks up a lot of Germanys traditions with beer tents and German food stalls to include plenty of weisswursts, the famous German white sausage. During the evening a 5-piece Oom-pah band “Die Hedelberg Boys” will be performing to celebrate the event. Altogether, this is a great event where a lot of the surrounding area comes together to have a enjoyable evening.
Moretonhamstead Carnival
Thursday 28th August
Every year, Moretonhampstead hosts a magnificent and popular carnival. With the day packed full of exciting events for all the family including face painting, bouncy castles and music in the square.
Autumn Flower Show
Saturday 6th September
Moretonhampstead hosts an annual autumn flower show where local and national farmers and growers come together to show off there talents. There are competitions throughout the day with stalls in order to buy for your own garden. Again it is a fantastic local event, which brings together the whole community. A very enjoyable day.
