New Ownership
On 15th September 2008 we were delighted to acquire The White Hart from Peter De Savary. Our new company, Hart Inns Ltd consists of Managing Director, Andrew Younger and Head of Operations, Gary Tubb. We both have extensive experience in the Pub, Brewing and Hospitality sector along with a background of Marketing, Publishing and enjoying great food! The opportunity to take on The White Hart was too good to miss and we are very lucky to have an excellent staff team in place who love the Hotel and are totally committed to providing excellent service and a bit of fun at the same time!
Our objective is to build on the excellent reputation that The White Hart has developed over the years and to carry out further upgrade improvements (see the new look) on other areas of the Hotel over the forthcoming months and years.
The New Look
We have recently completed a refurbishment of the downstairs public areas to provide a fresh look for our customers and to relaunch the Brasserie in a less formal environment. The ladies and Gents loos are greatly improved and we have added a roaring log fire to our new look Bar area. Please look at the gallery photos to see how the feel and image has been refreshed and, most important, please come and see and experience for your selves the comfort of our new sofas and the warmth of the log fires!
